Our Mission

The Wadsworth Grizzlies Community Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization that provides financial support beyond taxpayer responsibility, aligned with district goals and enhancing student achievement within the school district.

 

What We Do?

Provide funding via grants to support our district's educators in creating extended learning opportunities and experiences for both the students and staff.

 

How You've Helped So Far:

Funding provided by donors and our annual fundraising events has allowed the WGCF to award over $134,000 for 50 different projects over the past 7 years.

2025-2026 Grant Application - Coming Soon

 

Applications for this year's grant cycle must be submitted by 4PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

There are two (2) types of grants available: 

Classroom Innovation Grant: Designed to encourage creative and innovative teaching and learning initiatives consistent with the district’s goals. Award amount: up to $1000. 

Foundation Project Grant:  Larger grant generally used to serve more students; often includes an entire department, grade level, or school. This grant category includes requests for Professionals-in-Residence. Award amount: up to $5000.
