Student Safety - Creating Guardrails on Technology

Wadsworth City Schools conducted a student safety night for parents on January 18, 2023.  The topic of this evening was to discuss how technology (social media, smartphones) affects our children and what we can do about it to help guide them.

Phil Luthman discussed the layers of protection the district has in place on all student devices, as well as the layers of protection you can take for your home (physical, network, device, and app layers).  Phil's Google Slides presentation includes links to everything you need to set time limits, restrict objectionable material, etc.
