Tim Beck was elected to the Board of Education in November of 2023. He and his wife Jen have resided in Wadsworth since 2012. They have three children, two of which are recent Wadsworth High School graduates. Micah (Class of ’21) is a junior at Kent State and Addie (‘Class of ’23) is a freshman at Ohio Wesleyan. Their youngest, Silas (Class of ’27) is a freshman at the high school.
Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Asbury University in Media Communications and has worked as a Student Ministries Director in the United Methodist Church since 1999, working directly with middle and high school students and their parents. Over the years he has volunteered in the community, both in the schools and coaching soccer. He currently serves on the #BeKindWadsworth Initiative, the Guidance Counselor Advisory Committee, and the Whole Child Wellness Team. He has also coordinated Baccalaureate for the past six years.

Together we can do the work to create a caring environment while building trust. This is the key to our collective success and will provide a safe and quality education for all students.”
